Central Coast Model Steam Trains
The Central Coast Steam Model Co-Op is great cheap day out for kids of all ages but especially the younger ones. It is located at 73A Showground Road, Narara on the New South Wales Central Coast, just north of Gosford.
In this podcast Greg Lawrence enjoys a fun day out at the Central Coast Steam Model Co-Op with his three grand children and the short podcast will give you useful information about the model trains, location, parking, days and hours of operation and what to expect when you visit.
On the first Saturday of every month the Central Coast Steam Model Co-Op have a live day open to the public where children and families can enjoy a ride on scale model steam trains and diesel electric trains. It’s inexpensive, currently $2.50 a ride, and the kids love it. Having a ride on a model steam train and watching the train activity. No bookings are required for the train rides.
It is an inexpensive place for a kid’s birthday party too. For a modest $250 picnic tables are reserved for up to 20 adults and children and this includes exclusive use of two of the model trains for rides for two hours.
